The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is at the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school design is not the only productive means of studying. Their NCV programmes are created for college students who would like to start their journey towards a fulfilling career early on.
CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Section for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, with regards to their courses.
False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are supplied at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-yr duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements
These programs get started at NCV level 2 plus the minimum necessity would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.
At the time the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level 3 would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade twelve.
NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, currently being comparable to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade 9 is on here NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 which happens click here to be equivalent to an NQF level 2.
On which type of students are fitted to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that common schooling will not be necessarily the one method of turning into an artisan or turning out to be competent so if a student knows from an early age what their interests are, the NCV programme is actually properly fitted to that student.
